cooker/fridge type paint

Hello. I have to finish a 25 x 25 ms frame and some covers, 200x 300 1.2gauge x 25mm deep. I would like to finish them same as cookes/fridges, off white, quite hard, easy to clean. Anyone know much about it and where you can get it done please. I suppose something near to viterious enamel!!

not the same as that tough coating on older cookers though...its generaly just white paint labeled up for fridges etc , where as the original stuff is like that on a old enamel sign

IIRC that kind of enamelling requires baking in an oven or under infra-red heaters. I'd look in yellow pages under "enamelling", "stove enamelling" and suchlike.

According to Wikipedia vitreous enamel is made by fusing powdered glass to a substrate by firing, usually between 750 and 850 °C.

Appliances haven't been covered with vitreous enamel for a long time. I used to paint boiler panels in a factory and they were low bake alkyd enamel, quite a durable finish.
