You don't have a gas pipe and you don't have the fitting that allows you to connect the gas pipe to the gas valve!
This is how your machine should look. Yours has been butchered!
Your not listening to what you have been told (several times by different people!) until you can establish that there is a gas pipe you will not be able to do any welds that are not pigeon poo. Your torch has been stripped down by someone that is clueless about welders and welding then you have payed money for it! You need to take the torch apart properly and check there is a gas pipe then reassemble as per the diagram in the handbook (a copy can be downloaded off machine mart or there is a manual section on here) only then do you stand half a chance of making it work. Don't extend the torch as the feed motor has a hard enough job at the length it is and don't worry about the size of the cable it's fine
