converting clarke 100E to gas.

i want to convert my clarke 100E gas/no gas welder to gas, as im having problems with the no gas stuff.

i take it i will also need some hoses?

also where about on the welder does the gas connect to? as ive had a look and can't find any where where a hose would connect. its easy enough to change the polarity though.

and it won't be used very regular so the disposable canisters will be fine.

There should be a small white tube coming out the back of the unit for gas.

All you need it a regulator and wire along with the gas.

There should be a small tube out the back of the set to connect to the regulator, maybe its been snipped, if you remove the side cover you should see the small tube leading up into the torch harness, follow this back to see where it goes, if its been snipped then you can get push in tube joiners from hydraulics suppliers or engineers merchants plus a bit of tube.

this is how I connected mine to a proper regulator, used the push on jointers, but one side was the size of the tube coming out of the machine, the other side took 6mm or thereabouts tube, this was fixed to the spigot off the regulator
