Converting a SIP MIG to gasless

There maybe something on here regard the above but I have not been able to find it.

I want to convert my old Mig welder to run gasless bur keep seeing comments about polarity changes!!
Is there anyone who could give me a "Dummies guide" to doing the change if it is possible.

Hello and welcome to the Forum !

Which exact model of SIP MIG welder do you have?
Where the torch attaches inside the welder you should be able to identify the thin wire(s) that connect to the trigger switch in the torch handle. Is there one or two of these thin wires?
