Anyone who is changing from disposables to larger bottles and has a 'hobby' MIG with the small regulator, 4mm. dia Nylaflow gas tubing and doesn`t wish to spend out on a conversion kit.
You can still use the small chrome-plated push connector off the disposable regulator: it`s a 10-32 UNF (NF) thread; tapping drill is a No.21 (0.159" or 4.00mm.)
In my plumbing parts bin, I found a metric-coupling brass nut that fitted the large bottle`s regulator output union, then (away from the bottle/regulator, of course) soldered a short length of brass rod to the end of the brass nut, drilled and tapped the rod centrally and screwed in the old connector; which has a small O-ring to seal, check the micro-orifice within the chrome pipe-connector is clear, tighten nuts, do a 'soapy bubbles' leak check and job done.
