peterd51 happy to be here! Messages 1,593 Oct 21, 2009 #5 Hi, I think that /is/ the flux-cored. As I understand it, it's not a flux like solder but something that burns off and creates an inert gas shield. Although I've never actually used any so I could be worng. Regards Peter
