Conduit quality

Is (galv) conduit just normal steel or some sort of weaker version that makes it easier to bend ?
The reason is I have a large quantity of new lengths which I'm considering using for a project. I know the galv is a PIA when welding

It s normally just mild steel which will bend easily.
Unless it's for something critical I wouldn't worry.

There used to be at least 2 grades of galv conduit. Not sure if it was the steel type or the thickness, but you could tell when you bent it

just seam welded mild steel unless you get stainless and big ££££
