Concrete fence post lifter (for installation) ideas ?

I'm a Billy NO Mates so have to do things myself.
I need to install a few concrete fence posts across my sloping garden to both terrace and provide some privacy.
Due to health issues I've lost a lot of my strength so am thinking of making some sort hoist to do the heavy work.
I know people might say simply "get somebody else to do the job" but it needs to be done over a period of time due to other things in the way / not yet 100% decided exactly where they will be placed etc so that isn't an option.
If the ground was flat I'd lay down some ply and use my engine crane but it slopes and uneven so that isn't possible.
I like using scaffolding, fittings and KeeKlamps, of which I've got a small supply, for such projects.
Anyone an idea for such a hoist that will work on uneven ground ?

on building sites we have to level best way we can to use the machines

if that means stood on bricks and concrete blocks to level the machines then so be it

from a h & s aspects as long as its safe and usable thats the main thing

Just put some big wheels/tyres on an engine crane.

If you have scaffold can maybe make a tripod type thing, can adjust the poles to meet the slope conditions. Is it just to lift the post onto the holes or transport them there as well?

Or rig a gin pole system, didn't know what it was called, had to look it up

another not so known is lift from the bottom

use slide poles created from scaffold bar with slide clips top and bottom

push into place and lower back down into place

No idea where this thought could go but is there an alternative to lifting them?

Tie them onto a bit of ply and pull it down the hill to the top side of the hole. Slide the post off the ply into the holes and tip it up

Or pull them up a ramp and tip them into the holes.

If the materials haven't been bought yet why not investigate alternatives
I don't know if the recycled plastic ones are cheaper or I have seen angle iron used
Or there are various products available to use wooden ones but kept clear of the ground so they don't toy

I reckon with a pressure treated post, soaked in Sika preserver, with a postsaver sleeve applied and then overpainted with bitumen paint you will get 20+ years out a 4x4. Ask me in 18 years and we will see.

So really it depends how old you are?
