I remember 20 years ago I had to clear my fathers shed as they were due to move and his health was good enough to go out in the middle of winter and clear the shed. I kept a few bits - an old Britool 1/2" ratchet that he bought second hand 40 years before that - the rest of his 3 car tool boxes went to the local HWRC skips. Didn't have the time or the space at home to sort it out, although most of the tools were in poor state due to being stored under canvass out side.
The gentleman who used them planers used to be a master cabinet maker, I am a carpenter by trade and used to do cabinet making and 1st/2nd fix for about 2 decades and I don’t have a 3rd of them tools and I have a huge amount of tools for the trade I am in !
To be honest many of them planers may be replaced by a quality palm
Router and a decent hand plane but the finish and accuracy will depend a lot on who uses them ! Very, very nice find and I am jealous you found these- I do hope you home them properly or find someone that will ! Some of them spoke shavers and bullnose planers are really, really nice !
