Computery type problem

Going on from the second email account discussion in beers thread (Doors locked at the moment due to berevement), I got me dongly thing installed, works fine, installed Outlook, set up my email accounts (Much swearing) - receives emails, but when i try to reply to one it says undeliverable and '530 authentication required'

Whats dat den?

A 530 error means in correct login. guessing here but user name and password dont match or are incorrect

Its same password and login to send as well as receive emails..so if they send they should receive?

Accounts settings are wrong by the sound of it Paul. Incoming should be POP3, outgoing SMTP and check this too;
open up Outlook, tools > account settings > more settings, check the "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" box is ticked.
Hopefully that should work.

Ah, pesky outgoing server requires authentication boxes not checked. Mrs WP is busy sending abusive test emails down from upstairs and i couldnt swear back at her.
