It's an Encapsulated Post Script file. Many of the Adobe application will open that, so will CorelDRAW, Photoshop and ACDsee Photomanager

You want ghostscript and ghostview.
You can open eps in lot's of programmes but often the graphics progs open them in weird and wonderfull sizes.
Gimp is another free prog that probably works fine with them.

Just thought as postscript is from adobe, acrobat might well opens it. I tried it and acrobat 7 opened an eps graph I just did.

Would prefer it's not used on this forum. Can't imagine how many times I've wanted to know the answer to something and I've had to trawl through forum after forum where the members like to say "it's been asked millions of times before, search the forum for it", or just "google it".

If you google it you'll be sent to pages of forums that all say "it's been asked millions of times before, search for it", or just "google it". Posting a link to the answer for easy or repetitive questions will break the loop and help the next poor sod too.

Just a gripe I have found with other forums today and I wanted to winge about it. I'll ask on here next time. Long may we be different from them.
