I'd say another 100 euro's and u'd get a new'un...... need's to be closer to the 200 mark...........I bought one similar......it was a 2 cylinder side by side, very clean and ran OK......after about a month it'd just not build up much pressure, always was a bit low n slow.....thinking the head gasket had blown took the top off......... well the what was supposed to be oil on the bores was like valve grinding past...... so, replaced the pump with an old industial something from the 50's.......then after that the motor blew...... now the only thing left of the original is the tank and the reulator.........I'm still laughing about it.......
unless they are cheap or u know where it comes from buy new.........thats if u got the spondulik's......

Got a used Clarke 160 200l 3hp which wasn't building pressure for £120. Still got it 10 years later for the cost of the reedplate in the head. I think it was a grand sum of £60 odd.
Keep your eyes open for another. In the U.K. You could wait till a VAT free night comes up in the new year at machine mart. 20% off £350 is £70 that's ball park money that. I know that doesn't help you but my point is valid. There are deals to be had for cash.

Still on the hunt for a compressor my dad said he will buy me a SGS 50L with accessories but the shipping will be a bit.

If that's building pressure ok and it's single phase (looks like it might well be) it's definitely worth a punt. Quite a large tank for a relatively small motor / pump, though, so it might have been working hard somewhere.

If i ever get the paint off my gates i'm hoping to spray them with my new compressor. Just incase anyone missed it in the today i acquired thread.

Got a cheap spray gun. what about a filter? Which type should i get?
