T tux Member Messages 356 Nov 15, 2009 #6 I don't have a problem with my compressor being nosy. It just sits under the bench and minds its own business! Sorry, but someone had to say it!

Sits under my deck and I can hear it echo off the neighbors house Should have done it when i installed it as the pump sits on the tank and is 6' off the ground; hard to work on.

shenion Tool Pack Rat Messages 7,586 Location Stone Mountain, GA USA Nov 15, 2009 #9 Yea, but will need to build a 3' x 2' x 8' box, then a door and venting..... This is a 60-gallon/227L 5HP compressor.
