compressor air box

right spent a bit of time thinging about this and have come up with a way to fit a miffler to my conpressor. but 1st i had to put a air box on it so hear is the air box.

I don't have a problem with my compressor being nosy. It just sits under the bench and minds its own business!

I may look at doing the same to mine. Sits under my deck and I can hear it echo off the neighbors house

Should have done it when i installed it as the pump sits on the tank and is 6' off the ground; hard to work on.

just make a soundproof box then it makes the whole thing quieter

Yea, but will need to build a 3' x 2' x 8' box, then a door and venting.....

This is a 60-gallon/227L 5HP compressor.
