Compact 3d printer?

So I have been looking at 3d printers,
Don't really know what I am looking at!

To get started I am thinking of trying a small printer so if I don't get on with it I can post it to its next home!!
If I do get on with it then I would like to keep it to make small parts and then get a bigger/better one as well.


Requirements are:
Small, don't need more than 10cm3 at the moment.
Work with a window xp computer
Usb/sd slot that will allow me to print without the pc attached
Ready to go out of the box
Takes common print nozzles & filament

From what I have read the slicer software can be fairly slow hence I was thinking I could put my objects onto a usb stick/card then just print out directly when needed, several of the smaller printers I have seen are usb connection but don't actually say they support printing from a usb stick/card so if someone could point me in the right direction it would be great!

At the moment I am only planning on printing cosmetic covers for bolt heads and things like that so I presume pla filament would be fine?

I've had one of these for a few months... Monoprice Mini Delta

Set up was easy enough after a bit of help from the very helpful facebook group 'MP Mini Delta Owners'. They provide Cura configuration profiles and the like (I was totally new to the whole 3d printing game). I've found it pretty much faultless ...I'd say perfect as a first time machine, and not a lot to shell out to see if 3d printing's for you or not.
