Combi boiler repair

Now all as I know there is a few plumbers and Sparky's on here I have just had a quote to repair the combi boiler in the money pit of a let house I own down in Lancashire the quote is for £300.00 to replace the PCB on a raven heat RSF 820/20
I am fairly sure I have replaced this in the past my self as well as the settings clock am I out of touch with the price or is it a case of its let so we will charge plenty as has happened a few times in the past

That’s an old but solid boiler, let me see how much I can get a pcb direct from the manufactures for

@Kayos thanks yes it is old but solid the only fault with it in the past is that it has had a habit of doing the diverter valve every 18 months to 2 years I actually thought by the discription I was given that it had done another one

I charge £100 on top of the price of the part to fit it as a rule

if you are fitting it yourself dont bin the old one i have a number somewhere for someone that repairs the boards
then you have a cheep spare just in case

There's less than a tenner's worth of parts on it and should be easy to fix. I agree, don't chuck it. I'd give it a look over for return postage.
