Coloured paint help

Hi everyone I want to paint some of my recycled metal art and want to use my airbrush. Can anyone recommend any paint that will go through the airbrush and stick to bike parts, spoons and stuff like that thanks

I used to use any solvent based paint thinned with some white spirit, worked fine but of course drying time was not fast.

most stuff will if thinned enough...i would suggest you etch primer it first to help the paint stick

I used a thinned down metal paint, no issues.
But had to play around with the mix. Each colour was different.

I primed the surface with a acid primmer, etch primmer from a rattle can.
If doing old horseshoes make sure you get all traces of mud and grass out of the grip grove.

Or for a different effect let it rust a bit and brush on wax, different shades gives you a vast range of colours.

I use basecoat in my airbrush.
