Bit of a daft question really but I've recently acquired a Colchester Bantam MK1 which is now waiting for me to have a bit of a re-arrange in the garage so I can move it into position. As my garage floor is has more undulations than the surface of the moon, and with me being 6'2", I plan on fitting levelling feet to both raise it up a bit and to ensure that the cabinet doesn't sit awkwardly on a high spot in the floor. The lathe didn't come with any feet and a quick look shows 3 corners have a plain hole (probably around 1/2" from a quick look) so should be easy to buy feet to fit. The fourth corner is threaded 1" UNF for which I can't find a levelling foot to fit. I know the manual suggests that this is an adjustable foot used to level the lathe.
I was wondering if anyone has a photo of the standard levelling foot designed to fit this hole? Or any ideas where I may be able to get one? As an alternative I have thought about just buying a 1" UNF bolt and drilling it out to match the other corners, but not sure if that would be bad practice.
Thanks,
Mike
