Does anybody use or have any knowledge any of the Cobel range of welders / plasma's.

I looked at them before I settled on the machine I bought, which was from Rtech.

I checked their eBay ads again, just read the bottom for returns policy. I think they do more thqn they limit themselves to in the terms, but it didn't instill me with confidence.

They're only down the road from me, bit I think they're box shifters, so backup may be limited, but the price is about half what I paid for a UK backed machine of Chinese origin.

If you're prepared to take a risk, and the welder isn't business critical item for you, could be considered I guess.

Cheers for that Fran, are they also Chinese....? neither the tig or plasma would be really business orientated, have also looked at R-Tech for a long time, how do you ind it..?

I am a bit of a fan of Rtech, really like the welder, it's had hobby levels of use and the only problem was sticky gas valve. Their tech guy gave me options, best one was how to strip it, or aU could have just sent it back without extra charge for them to sort. 2 year warranty that, for once, is one that'd genuinely work imho.

The machines are well specced and good value. If I was looking for another MIG machine to replace my old SIP I'd look seriously at them.

you've probably gathered by now, I'm one happy customer.
