Hi everybody
I used my Cobel Tig today for only the second time.
It was welding fine on stainless - I then dropped something heavy on the extension lead that it was plugged in to - 100% my fault, whilst the welder was turned on which tripped the MCB on the garage supply.
I repaired the lead and tried welding again and now it won't maintain an arc - it's like its pulsing, but won't maintain a steady arc, and certainly won't start a weld puddle.
I tried on both AC and DC - same results.
What have I done to it?
I took the cover off - nothing obvious - I couldn't see any internal fuses to check.
Can any one shed some light on this please and/or recommend a repairer please.
Thanks
Rob
