Hi all.
I'm treating a few scabs of rust (and a couple of big bits actually) on a Crafter that i'm converting to a camper and wanted to know what anyone could suggest as a good primer after de-rusting. I've had to strip back the detached OEM rubber stone chipping which was hiding/holding rust on wheel tub seams and sill edges. I then treated with BH Deox-GEL (i love that stuff, watch it eat into the rust pits) so now i have clean metal on high impact areas. I've used EME121 in the past on my Karmann floorpan and loved it so was thinking the same again. Just a bit of a faff (not to mention expensive) to do small patches of rust. Anybody recommend any products as the vanlife forums just keep coming back with Smoothrite :-(
I'll be brushing it on as the areas arnt in full view. It just has to be tough and practical....and paintable at some point.
