Hi all.

I can't get a 'pub' gas cyl filled locally, most local pubs are on huge bottles and one friendly one can't get it changed because it's a Messer and his supplier has a differant bottle.
I've been offered a supply of old fire extinguisher bottles of similar capacity to the pub ones but I have'nt seen what type of regulator fits them yet! Can anyone here tell me what like they are before Monday? I'll see them then and can buy the refills for a tenner and no deposit or rental. This would let me practice for a while cheaply!

Hi Guys.
I don't drink in the bar I was trying to get a swap in, I'm too fond of G&T's to drink in any bar around here!
The fire extiguisher place can fill my bottle but I'ld have to wait two or three weeks as they only do refills in huge batch's. I'll do this if I don't recognize the outlet thread on the extinguisher.

I've used fire extinguishers in the past with no problems, and i was thinking of using one again as the last couple of pub bottles i have had have welded terible, not much better than using no gas at all.

Hi Bryan.
Paul Mowers has a post I was reading earlier about how to use the extinguishers which I found interesting, I've asked how much gas they hold, or to put it another way, how long do'es the gas last roughly?
