CNC Handbook

I've started following a few tutorials on Fusion 360 by Lars Christensen. Liking his tutorials so far and he comes recommended by the Fusion 360 users group; anyway I've noticed that on the video below, if you look at the detailed information, he has various links.

One of them is for 'Free CNC Handbook:", if you follow that link and give them an email you get chance to download this ebook. I downloaded it earlier, thinking it'll be a tip sheet or a short guide, and having just had a look now it's over 200 pages.

Thought I'd mention it here in case it's of use to others who are new to Fusion 360 or CNC.

What are you planning to design or make? Cnc is a very broad subject so a 200 page guide might be awesome or a waste of time, depending on what you want to make.

I'm also interested in what cnc gear you have or plan to get? I have a old router table (in storage) that I want to adapt for aluminium but I'm too busy these days

Its Lars tutorials I've been having a go at so far; mostly his 2017 stuff, which is recent enough to still work despite the software looking a bit different.

I did watch some of the latest tour videos from NYCCNC last night though, and the video of their new lathe; he gets so excited and throws so many words at you, sometimes feel you need a phd to understand him, but his passion is clear to see.

Just sharing a resource I thought people on here might like. Given I found it via a 2017 tutorial video, thought it might be difficult to find without a pointer.
