The beam pattern needs to be significantly effected before it will fail
A good buff up with "T" cut normally sorts them out
Nissan Micra is favorite for it
Half an hour ought to see the job done. Wet & dry through the grades, down to 5k grit, then a quick going over with Farecla G3 will see you good to go.
It's an Audi TT 2002 vintage , there pretty bad passed last year ok tho . Will get the wet and dry and t cut on the case over the next couple of nights .
Cheers gents
I did my one of lad's 2005 Clio lights a year or so ago - 600 or 800 grit wet and dry on the worst bits, followed by 1200 grit all over, finally polished out with T-Cut. Took about quarter of an hour and the lens looked almost as good as the newish one (insurance replaced after a truck spun him round on the M6) on the other side.

I'd be doing 'm just to see where I'm going as well as possible. Did the aftermarket Wipac ones I had in the Caterham earlier in the year - night, and well, clearer night :-)
