Clear fuel hose

You can get fuel lines from places like Think Automotive, they have the tech info that explains the numbering/lettering on the various grades of hose. If in doubt it’s worth looking up that chart to help make a decision. If in doubt go with the braided lined Goodrich hose, the hose is reasonably priced but it does get a bit spendy on fittings.

Is there a diesel (and SVO) compatible clear hose out there?

As I said before, the clear stuff I have on my 101 seems to be the same as the factory fit black line on 300tdis.

I'd be checking the seals and the actual filter material very regularly - seen some fail due to exactly the same reasons as the hose fails.

Good point, I have been using them for years on diesel without any issues. The ones I have use a brass bobbly type filter material so that's ok, I suppose you could always play safe and change the rubber seal for a fibre washer.

I need some clear fuel hose, this stuff seems to be PVC and there is conflicting information about whether it’s ok for unleaded fuel (some places list it along side the rubber stuff as ‘diesel only’. Anyone know for sure? Bonus points for a good supplier, but I only need about a metre.
