my ex boss just had a frame on the inside with bolts through it to the exterior and a lamp inside
it worked perfectly and just unbolted, rolled and pinned a bit more in then frame on bolt up and blast off

I use a cellophane roll on mine and it works well. The film is quite fragile and tears the very odd time.
Still on my first roll. (or half roll)
Biggest problem was getting a roll the right size. I bought a bigger roll and cut it in two which was the hardest part of the build as it was a pain to cut, a power saw just melted it into a lump.
I think I cut through t with a sharp cooks knife in the end.
I would use thicker film if I could get it, but what I have is OK.
Before that I used A3 laminating sheets run through the machine and cut to size, which cost basically nothing.

i dont even bother with it in the cabinet . just a piece of glass siliconed in . it lasts ages without getting hazy then just cut it out and put a new piece in 
the only time i use tearaways is on the ouside of my blasting helmet to protect the rear thicker safety screen and generaly have to change it after every use been splattered by grit 1.5mm in size
