I've sprayed a Morris Minor metal grille suround and metal bumper valance and fibre glass wing with Battleship grey over grey primer. It's a perfect match for the other paintwork, but after a clear coat application I notice pools or red appearing. They appear to be worse on folds and crevices which is probably getting a slightly increased dose of clear coat. The metal parts had been treated with Jenolite which is red in colour - but obviosly the FG wing was not and the problem is apparent there too.
