cleaning out particles from roller feed

It looks like small metal particles are magnetically attached to the rollers-at times when the feed slows down I check and see the roller turning and not feeding wire. what is the best way to clean off the rollers?

I use a dry toothbrush.

The metal particles may be there because the wire is skidding due to something else stopping the wire feeding properly.

Check the liner, swan-neck, tip and tension on the spool.

I take the wheels off and clean with brake cleaner.

If the tension is set right, if its slipping, its probably due to the wire being tight in the torch somewhere. Try new tip and giving the torch a blow out with an airline aswell.
