Cleaning a weld at a 45deg angle

Question - what are you currently using to clean a weld at a 45 deg angle?

I take it you mean dress off a weld at 45 degrees? Most people who would be needing to dress off a weld like that in a commercial environment wouldn't need to. The weld can look flat enough and neat enough without it. if it is round you can turn it off in the lathe or mill it if needed but generally not needed. Antox and a bit of scotchbrite is more than good enough for stainless and with a mig a screwdriver and hammer to remover spatter and a quick wire brush to remove any soot if needed.

Hold either a Bosch or Hitachi grinder at the required angle, with a relevant disc/wheel/pad....

Bit of a nonsense question really isn't it...Do you mean, grind flush...? Polish out?
And at 45degs to what?

From the wording of the post it's got to be about those variable speed long reach/fillet weld grinders like this one from Fein (specifically went out of my to avoid posting a link to the metabo version)

I've often wondered why someone doesn't make a retrofit version for a grinderette, same goes for the pipe linishing grinders. Market not big enough I guess

Apoligies for the lack of information in my original post. We are currently working on a new angle grinder for grinding, cleaning, removing paint etc from hard to reach welds. My question to you guys is how are you currently doing this application? wire brush, die grinder, removing the guard from your grinder and using a larger grinding disc??

I would appreciate your expertise.

For situations like that power file but tbh never had the need I think your trying to flog a solution to a problem that doesn't exist and have shown great contempt for this forum in the way you have tried to do it underhand so I will not be getting or recommending your gear any longer
