Cleaned up the very old 15mm micrometer I picked up

The old micrometer I posted on today I acquired:

Got a clean up:

Compared to my Moore & Wright imperial mics (and a Tesa):

Compared to my Mitutoyo Metric mics:

It looks like a toy in comparison, though it is accurate on a gauge block.

That's cool, especially with the saddle ring. Moore & Wright produced a tiny 1/2" capacity micrometer. It fit in a reading glasses case you could keep in your pocket.
Does your little 15mm one have any identification on who made it ?

No markings, not sure if it is an apprentice piece.
