Just had come delivered for my 13mm hose system, thought they were quick release?, do they need lubing to get them to located or do I need more wheatabix?. lol

So there is no special technique, just brute strength

fraid so its the rubber seals that are a tight fit making the couplings hard to conect .even vaslene makes no odds best using gloves when coupling save your skin

They get easier as the seals compress with age.

Certainly different from the lighter quick release couplings.

Try a bit of silicon spray on the rubber
