They both make well up. The Lark Ascending was played at a friend's funeral 10 years ago. A very moving piece before then. More so now.

Anybody here been so lucky to visit any monastery in Tuscany ?

There are a couple like the one of St. Antimo where monks still live , very old places ( 1000 years or more ) . They have a beautiful abbey there , made with stone and granite with medieval decors . Inside monks are praying , people can go inside but you must be absolutely silent , if you are lucky you can hear them sing ( graegorians chants ) . My dad has been there years ago and he heard them , no instruments , just their voices . Well he said walls were really vibrating , the abbey internal structure design has been made to concentrate sounds and the song takes even more power . He told me it's absolutely impossible to describe such a moment , you can feel your soul vibrating , they are absolutely impressive .

I am not into classical music. I do like Rimsky Korsakov - especially Scheherazade.
