How do they compare with portomig? On the leaflet they seem to have similar spec. How do they compare in price?

Portamig 211
20 - 215 Amps
60% Duty Cycle @ 120 Amps

Classic Mig 200
22 - 200 Amps
60% Duty Cycle @ 160 Amps

So, the Portamig has slighty better bottom end performance & more top end power, whereas the Classic Mig has a better duty cycle. The Classic Mig has some more features on such as Spot & Stitch weld timers aswell.
Price wise, the Classic Mig sells out at around £650, Portamig 211 @£595.

No including Vat. I sell em both & really can't find a bad word to say against the Classic Mig... one small gripe is the wire feed adjustment being over sensitive, it has to be set just right or it's spitting & farting, but other than that nothing really, very reliable machines.
The Classic Migs are made in Hungary & the Portamig in England, if that has any influence on your purchase decision (it would do with me but I think I'm a dying breed! ).
