Clarkson autolock

Purchased a mill with an INT30 auto lock holder. Anyone care to explain how these work? I take it they will only hold threaded milling cutters?

In design yes, only threaded, but I use a little spacer to allow it to tighten on non-threaded cutters. I'll bring my holder in to work tomorrow, come round and see me at some point and I'll show you
