Clarke XE29/270 28cfm or XET19/200 18cfm Air compressor For DiY Blasting ???

Hello Everyone.

I did try to find some info about it but no luck

Looking to purchase Good air compressor for my DIY Shotblasting Setup. Will be used with Sandblasting cabinet & pressure pot. Mainly blasting brake calipers cast one & alloy Brembo and some other parts that could fit in my Blasting cabinet so they are ready for powder coating/ wet paint ( not ready yet as going to make my own one in next couple of weeks).
I know higher CFM is then better but would 18cfm be enough for my needs or I should go for bigger one 28cfm with 270L tank Tandem for peace of mind. Will be used max 5h a week if not less.

Any help or tips would be much appreciated.

as said 2x 14cfm compressors coupled together would give u ample air and be cheaper to buy than a tandem set up I have a double unit giving 28cfm but got it second hand for 75 quid with one duff motor just put a new one on for 90 quid get belt drive comps as direct drive will overheat and ruin in a short space of time . running the 2 comps with a 3mm jet the 28cfm can easily cope and will cut out when using as it produces more air than it needs

I've got two 14cfm compressors and an eBay pot, very pleased with how it works. I've altered the pressure switches so they cut in at different pressures and connected both tanks together.

Google '10 gallon blasting pot mods' to get an idea how to improve things with the pot.
