What is the maximum spool size that can be fitted and works OK in one of these ?

The manual suggests that a 5kg spool can be fitted.

I have my doubts.

Does anyone know for sure from practical experience ?

( I don't have a 5kg spool to try and don't want to buy one to find it doesn't work OK ).

FInd some one with a empty spool you can then see if it fits.

I used the one I had with a 5kilo spool, fits straight on as far as I can recall.
