Wouldn't run without a swan neck liner - you'll likely have wire feed problems and there's a good chance of 0.6mm wire birdsnesting inside the swan neck.
Its just one long liner in mine from the socket on the welder to the torch tip, (SIP Autoplus 180). Have the Clarke welders got a seperate liner in the swan neck?
Right thanks Scott, I notice the SIP's now also have a seperate liner in the neck, suppose mine is maybe different as its older than time. I read of some folks breaking the swan neck and think the neck on mine may be better quality than the newer ones as its brass tube coated in insulation.
