Hi all
I have got a clarke 105en gas less welder,can anyone help me with the correct settings to weld up my classic mini panels

What settings have you tried already?

Start with a fairly med power setting & high wire speed, and go from there....Have you looked at this?

You are in good company with the Mini, loads of peeps on here to supply advice.

Have a practice on some scrap of similar thicknesses, follow the tutorial, and then let the forum know how you get on.

That's very kind of Dave sending you copies of the user manual, but regard the settings in the manual as a guide & not gospel.
Generally, if you are welding thin stuff like bodywork you will be on the lowest power setting, ie. 1 minimum. Try the wire feed speed at around 3 or 4 on the dial & if you feel it pushing your hand back turn it down a touch; it's quite sensitive so a touch is all it needs.
Trial & error really, getting the hang of it.... you also stand a much better chance of successfull thin sheet welding using gas & not gas-less, flux cored wire.

And the wire speed guides in the manual mention nothing about what size wire the speeds relate to.

On the 151TE with 93% 5% 2% mix using 0.6mm wire on max power, the wire speed is set at 9.5 to get a good sound.

You'd be far better on 0.8mm wire Alex at maximum power; 0.6mm is really strictly for bodywork type thickness & as you crank up the power you also need to up the wire diameter.
