Clarke Plasma King

Thinking of getting something like Clarke Plasma King 35 but I see there are some marked 35 and some 35N What's the difference, is one a later/better model.
Also for the money is there an equivalent better make same sort of price one.
Using it for chopping up bits of cars etc.

I bought a Plasma King 35N a few months ago. Not sure what the "N" means.

I bought it from Machine Mart in a VAT-Free evening, have a word with Weldequip on this forum, he may be able to better MM's normal price.

I've just used it for cutting up scrap washing machines, it's dead simple, set the air pressure and switch it on.

It has a pilot arc so it will start cutting painted metal, you need a good earth obviously.

The only complaint I have so far is that when it cuts out due to low air pressure, the air valve closes so you don't get the usual period of nozzle cooling.

Oh, and it weighs just over 30Kg - no fancy inverters here!
