Clarke EN90 - no life

Hi all.

Had a faithful gas-less MIG for a few years now and it hasn't been used for a couple of years.
Went to fire it up for some welding on my bag of s

te Discovery and couldn't get a tune out of it.
It's a Clarke (Don't laugh!) MIG 90EN.
Checked the large fuse inside for continuity and it is fine.
Any help with the fault diagnosis greatly appreciated

Welcome to the forum. Nothing wrong with the 90EN (there is with yours, but not generally!)

Stating the obvious - check the plug fuse, try it in another socket, is the socket working?

Does the panel light come on?

Try operating the power selector switches a few times, they may have a bit of corrosion on them due to storage.

Hi mate.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Tried numerous different sockets JIC, and also replaced the fuse with a known good one.
Still no luck!
