I have to purchase a welder for a friend and have been volunteered by his wife to do it as a surprise for his birthday. He wants a Clarke 135TE so that is an easy one.

I will go to the local motor factor for a 9 litre Hobby Gas Cylinder again that is an easy one.

He has someone giving him an auto dimming mask so that is off my list.

The two pieces I need are the regulator and the hose. I will phone machine mart in the morning but sometimes the people on the phone are great and other days well they can be less than usefull.

The Clarke regulator is I think this one with a mail bottle connector as hobby weld say their bottle has a femail connector.

The hose is the one I'm confussed about Machine Mart have two one 1/4 bsp the top link and one 3/8 bsp the next link. Or is the Weldquip regulator and hose kit bottom ink a better product

I would choose the weldquip kit you linked to every day and it's cheaper than the clarke one that is of unknown origin.
