clarke 4.5" bandsaw drive belt

evening all does anyone know where i can get a new drive belt for my clarke bandsaw?

Mine has shreded itself and i cant find the right belt.

There should be some information on the back or the belt eg A46 that gives it's size if not take the old belt to a bearing factor, they will be able to identify it and get you a new one.

Most places sell them by size. If you cant find any markings on it then measure the circumference.

Go to the clarke spares website and submit a request with bansaw model and part you want, theyll send an email back with price and part number. Phone them and order it, very quick delivery. My bandsaw drive belt went so i ordered 2 through clarke. Ill just say, when they gave me the price for 1 it was £9 odd, when i orderd 2 it worked out at around 11 quid, i put it down to postage charges.

Actually the last discount day was "15% discount" not "VAT-Free"

i ordered a few vbelts off ebay for a few quid so hopefully they will be ok. If not i will give clarke a call.

and you can only use the vat free voucher on orders over £50

A bit late with this as I've only just seen it, Belt size for the 4" bandsaws is A22, usually around £3 to £4 max, If its shredding belts it sounds like the motor may need re aligning to get the pulleys in line,

Thanks Paul i can confirm that both a A21 and A22 belts fit fine on this model and cheaper than getting them from clarke.

You were right about the pulleys. One of them has a damaged grub screw and had moved. All sorted now and working fine again.
