Hi all,

about to purchase one of these, I know they run on a single phase standard 13amp plug socket, But I was just wanting some re-assurance on if It is OK to plug in at home? It wont keep kicking my electric out will it?

before I spend £450 I want to make sure it's ok to use at home

I wouldn't run one on a 13 amp socket (apart from if you plan to use the lower settings only). I guess max input current would be at least 16 amps, so one of those round blue sockets would be the thing. Fairly sure you'd get away with a 16 amp socket, though it's marginal at full blast.

Apart from that it ought to be possible to plug it in at home.

own the same` never had any probs using off a 13amp plug on the lower settings` only on full power it trips the breaker
