Clarke 205te problems

Hi there was hoping someone would be able to help, or recommend somewhere to send my welder to be fixed?

I lent my welder to a friend (was working fine before hand) and recently got it back, but know the wire feed roller seems jammed, you pull the trigger and hear a clunk like its wanting to turn but it doesn't

Any help would be brilliant

try takeing wire out and see if it will feed then. after that check voltage is getting to motor after that take gear box to bits and check for broken cogs etc if there is then its new feed assesbly time

take the wire feed unit apart to check for damage to the gears if damaged order new parts from machine mart

Will have a prod about and see what's what

Im pretty certain its the circuit board, fed power to the motor via car battery and the motor turned fine.

New circuit board purchased from weldequip

Circuit board fitted and the welder is in operation once again.
