Clarke 160tm 2mm box steel settings

Hi all,

Complete newbie, bear with me. So I have the above welder and I want to weld 2mm box steel (25mm x 25mm). Can someone start me on the correct (ish) settings, wire feed and power.

I'm on 3 MIN at the moment with different speed settings, around 4 - 6 at present. I'm having a mare with it.

I know I'm gonna be shocking to start but it'd be nice to get close to good settings to practice on.

You would be best advised to set it as high as possible on some similar material and work your way down till you stop blowing holes in it. No two welders will give the same results even if they are same make and model, minor differences in switch settings and tolerances in components all add up. Set it on highest and trim the wire speed till it stops pushing back and machine gunning then try turning the power down.
