I've recently bought a Clarke 151TE and the manual says the power settings are in this order:
1 Min
2 Min
3 Min
1 Max
2 Max
3 Max
However, I did some stuff today which needed a bit more power (previously I'd been doing car bodywork stuff including butt welding, so I'd only used 1 min and 2 min). I tried 3 Min and it seemed quite strong. I turned it 'up' to 1 Max, but it seemed less power! I didn't want to fiddle around any more in case I'd turned it up way too much and blew a hole in the job I was welding.
So, has anyone else experienced this and what are the power settings in ascending order?
