Hello all,
I have just bought my first welder.
However the disposable gas canisters are only allowing me to complete around 2 foot of weld using .8mm wire on 1.2mm marterial until they are empty, which I would have thought is not much, and will get very expensive.
Should the trigger not control the gas flow? as it seems to continuously flow even without pressing the trigger. Is this a fault with the machine or is it just how they are, and I should just turn the gas off when I'm standing back to admire my efforts?
The welder I learnt with controlled the gas via the trigger.
Many Thanks
