clarke 150EN.... good buy?

Just bought a clarke 150EN on ebay, needs a new torch (as the old one got run over )

bid got up to £77, got there and the guy said he didn't expect it to fetch that and let me have it for £50!

So need to sort a new torch but I still think it's well worth it

so did I get a bargain or not?

If it works it sounds a good deal to me...just hope the guy was not feeling guilty about something he know's and you don't...'yet'..... probably just me being a suspicious old git!

gonna test it tomorrow hopefully (will take the torch/gun off my 90EN), if it works okay then i'll order a new one......

If I sell the 90EN I have i'll probably get my money back, watched a couple go on ebay for silly money......

Yes there is always a good market for 2nd hand Migs, which is why I think yours was a good buy if it runs ok..good luck

Dont forget there is a 'for sale' section here and no Ebay fees or people buying and not showing up, if you search the old posts it will give you an idea of what price they are fetching

good stuff

gave it a test today, swapped the gun from my 90EN just to test it and it works spoton (only did around a 6" run)

Have a rear valance to weld on my mini project tomorrow so that will give it a proper run
