Hi all. I have nosed around on this site
before over the last couple of years and have
finally got around to joining it.
I have done a bit of Mig welding for about three years
now, with varying levels of success, but usually
I end up just sticking bits of metal together with a hot
copper blob!!
I removed the n/s wing from my Ford Capri last week to find
a LOT of fresh air. I need to fabricate a fair few patches and weld them
in. The fabrication isn't a problem as I have nibblers, air grinders
and the usuall hammer and dolley kit and am fairly handy on that side of things.
However, I really want to ensure that the patches are welded in properly.
To this end, I would like to know what the settings on my Clarke 150 turbo
do. I aquired the unit second hand so hence I have no instructions.
I am hoping that somebody else may have or be familiar with this type of welder. It has a button with A and another with positions 1&2 and it is these
that I am not fully conversent with.
I hope that somebody here could advise me and I would be most gratefull.
Cheers, Andy.
