Clarke 135TE Service

Hey everyone,

I've just got hold of a Clarke 135TE on ebay after doing a bit of research on this forum, I understand they are pretty resilient machines with plenty of spares available, the one i've bought is second hand and i'd like to give it a service, what should i renew?

i'm thinking the wire liner, maybe get a teflon one? some new tips, should I get a new shroud too?

Get a steel liner unless you plan on doing a lot of aluminum. Teflon/plastic liners don't last long.

A spare shroud is useful if one gets goobered up, you can just swap instead of spending time fixing it.

Thanks! I'll go for the steel liner then, its been used for quite a while so i think it'll be a good move changing the liner

If it's got wire in it, check carefully for rust spots, you don't want to ruin the new liner!
