hi everyone i'm new, and cannot weld yet
i've bought a clarke 135 te and am about to get cracking on my first job which is to weld a patch into the battery tray of my vw camper (or i might relpce the whole tray... comments anyone?)
my main problem is the opening 2 pages of the instruction manual. the things i need to confirm are:
1)it goes on about earthing the welding circuit regarding EMC problems
2)Equipotential bonding ??
MY IMPRESSION WAS THAT WITH THIS TYPE OF WELDER I CAN PLUG IN, ATTACH THE EARTH CLAMP TO WHAT I AM WELDING, AND GO.
IS THIS THE CASE OR SHALL I ENROLL IN A LEVEL PHYSICS CLASS
